Our lectures cover a variety of topics within the realm of metaphysics and parapsychology, featuring expert speakers in their respective fields. Feb. 11th - Lucid Dreaming and Dream Interpretation with Jefferson Harman
Do you have recurring dreams? Have you ever had a nightmare or a serious dream you did not understand that still haunts you? Is there a symbol that has appeared in dreams over and over again? Do you find that you do not remember your dreams or perhaps you feel that you do not dream at all? In this interactive presentation, Jefferson Harman will review the various aspects of Lucid Dreaming and Dream Interpretation, on a personal and communal level. Jefferson will help you learn how to decode guidance for yourself and others. You will also learn how to consciously enter your dream state, while being fully aware that you are dreaming.
Jefferson Harman, a symbolic intuitive, has been actively studying the relationships among metaphysics, psychology and anatomy for over 20 years. Jefferson, a Ramapo College Alumni, offers workshops and private readings in Dream Interpretation, The Healing Power of the Mind, and Overcoming Your Phobias. He also teaches workshops in Origami as a meditation tool to promote World Peace. Jefferson is a recurring guest on “Life Unedited” with John Aberle, on WCHE Radio 1520 AM.
Feb. 25th, Thriving and Transforming in a Time of Great Change with Bente Hanson
We are living in a time of tumultuous change, transformation and uncertainty. What techniques and awareness can be adopted to manage the inner changes that manifest as emotional turmoil, mental confusion and physical discomfort? In this presentation Bente will be sharing information she has received from non-physical teachers for over ten years relating to how we can best manage, and even thrive, during this time of rapid change. Bente's presentation will include: a discussion of the human energy field, learning how to optimize well-being and wellness, and using these principles and techniques to transform our reality.

The Vernal Equinox, also known as Ostara after the ancient goddess Eoster, is a time of renewal, both in Nature and in the Home. The days become longer, the air warmer and, once again, life begins to return to the land. Now, Day and night are equal in length. The Equinox honors the planting of new seeds, the fertility of the land and its people, and the hope of the new life arising in the world. Eggs, for new beginnings, and rabbits, for fertility, are common symbols of the season.
Harriet Wagniere B.S., M.A., is Director of the Metaphysical Center of New Jersey. She has been a member of the Center for over 30 years beginning as a student of founder, Donald Yott. Many classic prophecies point to our current time as one of major changes; from 3114 BC when the Mayans first marked their calendar to end in December of 2012; and 534 BC when the angel Gabriel told the prophet Daniel that there is an end of this age, to the “Sleeping Prophet” Edgar Cayce stating that the time Gabriel spoke of is upon us – our age has been targeted as the Age of Change. Not just our planet will change, but our bodies will change. John’s talk will include the Mayans, Egyptians, and the prophecies of the Bible, including the Revelation, the prophecies of Nostradamus, the Bishop of Malachy, and Mary the Mother of Jesus. Sunday, May 6, Wesak Festival with Cyrus Ryan
The Wesak Festival takes place every Full Moon in Taurus. It is at this time that the Buddha returns to humanity as the focus of a sacred ceremony that takes place in the Himalaya Mountains. Aspirants from around the world gather every Wesak to invoke the blessings of the Buddha. It is the single greatest outpouring of spiritual energy on the planet and a great opportunity for blessing, alignment and growth for all humanity.
Cyrus Ryan’s introduction to the Spiritual Path began in the fall of 1973 with Yoga. In 1977 he made his first of three trips to India. He visited and meditated at many sacred places. In 1980 he lived in India for a year and traveled to Ladak, an ancient Buddhist kingdom. In Toronto he gave lectures on Yoga Vidya and began painting the Himalayas in a style similar to that of Nicolas Roerich. In 1987 Cyrus traveled to Tibet, and in the early 90’s began lecturing in the US.

Summer Solstice, sometimes known as Midsummer, is a celebration of the longest day of the year and the beginning of Summer. It is a distinctive time on an astrological level and one of the three Spirit Nights of the Celtic year. It has been an important gathering time since ancient days, a true festival of community sharing and planetary service. Faeries are abroad, easily visible to those whose sensitivities enable them to pierce the veil between the worlds. Saturday, September 10, Enlightenment and the Future of America with John White
According to John White, our War for Independence is over but the American Revolution goes on as a spiritual revolution of global proportions. America is essentially an experiment in expanding freedom. Rightly understood, America is an evolutionarily advanced political form designed to nurture God-realization, enlightenment, liberation. But before there can be liberation, there must be deliberation. This lecture will explore the relationship between traditions of enlightenment and politics through political, social, cultural and spiritual deliberation. The “hateful harangue” between Left and Right can be resolved through a higher-level understanding.
John White is an internationally known author in the fields of spirituality and higher human development. His books include The Meeting of Science and Spirit, What Is Enlightenment?, Everything You Want to Know About TM -- Including How to Do It and a children's book, The Christmas Mice. His writings have appeared in The New York Times, Reader's Digest, Omni, Esquire, and Woman's Day, and he lectures throughout the U.S. and Canada. He holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Yale University. He and his wife Barbara have four grown children and live in Connecticut.

As a ceremonialist, Glory presents and teaches many different types of ceremonies. Samhain is a seasonal Wiccan festival whose theme is to give gratitude for the bounty of the harvest and to honor the ancestors who have passed on. Wicca, (an offshoot of the Celtic Tradition) is a spiritual practice, a way of life; it is a religion based on the balance of mind/body and spirit. Wicca honors all things, seen and unseen, and practitioners strive to live in harmony and balance within nature and with all peoples, believing that everything is interconnected and part of the “Greater Divine Force.” In our western world Samhain is known as Halloween. For this ceremony it will be celebrated with its original intent, to honor the bounty of the harvest and our ancestors. It is requested that everyone who attends enter with an open heart and an open mind. Please bring two gifts from nature (a pinecone/flower/leaf/stone a twig, etc.) – one for the God and one for the Goddess as a way of honoring the male/female aspect of Divinity. Blessed Be!
Reverend/Shaman/Reiki Master Glory Mirabello, B.A., D.D., is an interfaith minister and spiritual counselor performing weddings, death rites, and rites of child blessings. She is also a teacher of MCNJ's 13 level course of study in Metaphysics and Parapsychology and the 5 level course in Tibetan Studies. Glory began as a student of former Director Jean Munzer and founder Donald Yott 37 years ago. Glory has been teaching for MCNJ for 26 years and has lectured at Bergen Community College, throughout the tri-state area, and for various organizations in New England.

The power of the soul is limitless for it is part of creation and the creative process. The physical body is an illusion. It is merely a combination of energy patterns and awareness. Using the ability of the soul through proper intent we all can influence or change the body's entire structure at the spiritual level. Jim will endeavor to show how to commit ourselves to a deeper awareness, focus on relationships, and transcend the obstacles that affect our mind, body and emotions.
