About our Classes
The Metaphysical Center of New Jersey offers a 13 level course of study in Metaphysics and Parapsychology in many Adult Education Schools in the northern New Jersey area. The courses cover a wide range of fascinating topics in the field and by their depth and breadth give students a perspective in which to hold past, present, and future learning. 

Courses usually run for 10 weeks and each class meets approximately for an hour and a half with varying start dates in September/October for the Fall semester and February/March in the Spring. Since all of the 13 levels are not offered each semester, classes may be taken in any order. However, students are encouraged to take Metaphysics and Parapsychology 1 early in their studies as it provides a necessary foundation.

In addition, MCNJ offers various workshops and classes through the Adult Education Schools on topics such as ESP,  Tarot, and Psychic Development.  Fees for all classes are determined by the Adult School but are usually about $70 for a 10 week course. Tarot I, II and III Workshops

Tarot I Workshop
Learn the basic meanings of the Major and Minor Arcana (78 cards) at this in-depth workshop. Special emphasis is given to symbols, colors, and numerology of the cards.

Tarot II Workshop
Learn the various layouts: the Celtic Cross (a special form), yes/no, timing, spiritual destiny, karmic relationships and more. Practice doing a reading applying what you just learned.

Tarot III Workshop
In this workshop you will learn Advanced layouts. Additionally, you will learn techniques for developing your psychic ability with an opportunity to practice.

Note: Tarot I is recommended first, especially if you have no previous knowledge. The Waite-Rider Deck will be used. Bring your own or purchase in class. Space is limited---reservations are required. Bring a bag lunch.

You will leave each session feeling confident to pursue your work with Tarot using practical knowledge. Lots of lively exchanges and fun are part of the workshops.

Tibetan Studies

This is a five-level course of study involving in-depth exploration of topics from the Esoteric Wisdom. Lessons have been passed down from Eastern sages through the founder of the Metaphysical Center of New Jersey to students who are ready to receive and apply the knowledge. Students meet once a month to read and discuss the lessons with an MCNJ teacher. The focus of these studies is on the application of the spiritual principles in daily life so students are encouraged to practice the teachings during the following month and discuss their experiences at the next meeting.

Women's Spirituality & Intro to Meditation Group

Learn the spiritual, psychological & scientific basics of developing a meditation practice and enhancing your innate psychic/spiritual gifts. Enjoy the company & support of like-minded souls. Cost: $120 for 4 weeks. Advance registration required. *This group will be held every month.
