Holiday Party and Concert 7 – 10 PM
with
Spring
The Holiday Party this year will begin promptly at 7PM
with a Dish-to-Share Dinner until 8PM. Then from 8-9PM,
singer/songwriter Spring will entertain with her angelic voice
and inspirational music. Often compared with Sarah McLachlan,
Spring will share her original work as well as some holiday
favorites. From 9-10PM we’ll share dessert and coffee/tea while
the winning ticket holders claim their raffle prizes!
Spring’s career began when her mom presented her with
a dusty old guitar she dug out of the attic. She describes her
music as “inspirational pop-rock” and plays acoustic as well as
piano and keyboard to accompany her exceptional voice. In
between touring Florida and the tri-state area, Spring has
produced two albums which have received critical recognition and
radio airplay. She says, “I want people to leave (my concerts)
feeling like they got a gift for their soul.”

Winter Solstice Celebration 7:30 – 9:30 PM
with Harriet Wagniere
The word solstice comes from a Latin word meaning “sun
standing still.” Since ancient times, humans recognized the
winter solstice and hailed it as the day that marks the return
of the sun. It is no coincidence that in the Christian church
the birth of the Son coincides with the rebirth of the Sun. In
a spiritual sense, it is a reminder that in order for a new path
to begin, the old one must end. Please feel free to bring a
healthy snack to share as we celebrate after the ceremony.emony.

Beyond Monotheism: Teachings on the One-ness of G-d with Ed
Croman
At the opening of a famous Kabbalistic discourse, the prophet Elijah
declared, “ Master of the Worlds, You are One, but not in the
numerical sense.” What did Elijah mean? Three thousand years ago
monotheism was a revolutionary idea, but today it’s easy for us to
accept the concept that there is one G-d. For many people, this is
the same as the Oneness of G-d. However, according to the ancient
teachings of Kabbalah, they are two very separate ideas. Elijah is
telling us that the “One-ness of G-d” involves concepts almost as
revolutionary as the idea of monotheism itself. This talk will
explore many of these revolutionary concepts, including ones
relating to metaphysics, science, logic, the self, and many other
Kabbalistic teachings.
EDWARD CROMAN, B.A., M.B.A., Ph.D (Hon.), successful industrialist,
philanthropist, prominent community leader, and Harvard graduate,
has studied under noted Kabbalists for more than 26 years. He has
lectured on Jewish mysticism for the Metaphysical Center of New
Jersey as well as on the Kabbalistic interpretation of the Bible at
numerous locations throughout the USA. |

Vernal Equinox with Harriet Wagniere
The Vernal Equinox, also known as Ostara after the ancient goddess
Eoster, is a time of renewal, both in Nature and in the Home. As the
newly reborn sun races across the sky, the days become longer, the
air warmer and, once again, life begins to return to the land. Day
and night become equal in length. This equinox honors the planting
of new seeds, the fertility of the land and its people, and the hope
of the new life arising in the world. Eggs, for new beginnings, and
rabbits, for fertility, are common symbols of the season. “Spring
cleaning" is more than just a physical activity; it removes any
negative energy accumulated over the dark winter months and prepares
the home for the positive growing energy of spring and summer.
Harriet Wagniere B.S., M.A., is Director of the Metaphysical Center
of New Jersey. She has been a member of the Center and Board of
Directors for over 30 years beginning as a student of founder,
Donald Yott. Harriet has taught both MCNJ’s 13 level course of study
in Metaphysics and Parapsychology and the 5 level Tibetan Studies
course several times and has also lectured throughout the tri-state
area. Harriet has a private practice as a hypnosis consultant and
spiritual counselor. |

Summer Solstice Celebration with Harriet
Wagniere
Summer Solstice, sometimes known as Midsummer, is a celebration of
the longest day of the year and the beginning of Summer. It is not
only a time distinctive on an astrological level, it is one of the
three Spirit Nights of the Celtic year. It has been an important
gathering time since ancient days, a true festival of community
sharing and planetary service. Faeries are abroad, easily visible to
those whose sensitivities enable them to pierce the veil between the
worlds. This is also the time for healers to cull magical and
healing herbs: vervain, yarrow, stonecrop, mugwort and above all,
St. John’s wort.
Harriet Wagniere B.S., M.A., is Director of the Metaphysical Center
of New Jersey. She has been a member of the Center and Board of
Directors for over 30 years beginning as a student of founder,
Donald Yott. Harriet has taught both MCNJ’s 13 level course of study

course several times and has also lectured throughout the tri-state
